SCASP SOLICITS NOMINATIONS FOR
OUTSTANDING SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Recognition of one’s work by his/her peers is the highest form of
praise. CASP officially recognizes the outstanding work of school
psychologists through its Outstanding School Psychologist (OSP)
award. SCASP is soliciting nominees for this prestigious award.
Each day in schools throughout California, school psychologists have a
positive impact upon children, teachers, families, schools, their
community and their profession. School psychologists do this in a
variety of ways, from counseling to designing and implementing
innovative programs. They help develop solutions, provide in-services
and serve as resources for schools and families in their community.
They are where they are needed, when they are needed. They provide
service “above and beyond” on a regular basis. Every year, CASP
recognizes the outstanding work of school psychologists through its
Sandra Goff Memorial Award and Outstanding School Psychologist (OSP)
Awards.
CASP’s Outstanding School Psychologist Award recognizes school
psychologists who provide outstanding service to students, teachers,
administrators, parents, community agencies and the profession. To
date, more than 200 school psychologists have received this award. Only
practicing school psychologists providing direct services are eligible
for CASP’s OSP awards. Award nominees must be CASP members.
