- Financial Update:

Fall Workshop

1. Spent: -1,102.04 (see attachments)

2. Took in: +2,430.00 paypal - 83.43 total paypal transaction fees (they charge us for each transaction, so the more people using PayPal, the more fees they take of our profits) = 2,346.57 to us from paypal

3. See Transfer of funds from one account to another, I was not aware that money in and out is through out checking only and the money market needed cash transfer into the checking to clear our expenses, then money was transferred back to the money market, because this is where we get our dividends from, so having the most money in this account makes us money. But it is also confusing transfer back and forth. In fact, the $353.36 should be transferred to the money market - 100 to keep the checking open, but I will wait to do this until the Board meets.

4. Took in: 300.00 checks (this says checks but it was only $130 in checks, so I must of deposited cash too? or transferred existing cash in the account already?!!)

5. Took In money for dividends on money in our accounts - see attached

Total Checking, Market Rate, Share Savings as of 8/1/17 was: $4,541.60 (baseline from taking over the accounts)

Total Checking, Market Rate, Share Savings as of 11/12/17 is: $ 5,991.78 (surplus of $1,450.18)

Board members discussed the paypal fees and pros and cons and determined the ease and convenience of using credit cards was worth the cost to the SCASP organization.

-PO Box update:

Cost is $90 per year in Santa Rosa. Coddingtown location is preferable. Deanna motioned to approved it and Zenia seconded it, all are in favor.

- Going forward, fundraising auctions at workshops?

Plan for adding this to end of year party.
